Chloe is French fashion house founded in 1956 in Paris by Jacques Lenoir and Gaby Aghion, this fashion house produces women's ready to wear clothes, accessories, fragrances etc.

Chloe has tapped unknown designers to work with them and that results the brand's increasing popularity. It's been in Chloe history that this fashion house has given chances to various new fashion designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Martine Sitbon and others. 

Karl Langerfeld became the top designer for Chloe as he forged a new feminine image with his classic lines. His Deco collection in 1972 elevated the Chloe fashion house and took it to international fame. He left chloe in 1983 and came back in 1992 to replace Martine Sitbon who also brought modern looks to Chloe Fashion in her regime. Stella McCartney succeeded Lagerfeld in 1997 and took the helm of the Chloe fashion house; her simple concept designs driven by street fashion sense became popular in the London fashion scene.

Her collection for Chloe was first shown in 1997 in Paris which included lace camisoles, petticoat skirts which recalled the feminine image. Her pret a porter designs elevated Chloe profile to great success in the 1990s. McCartney also being a animal right activist did not worked with fur and leather during his period in the fashion house. She left Chloe in 2001.  View Content Resource

Then came her successor Phoebe Philo who had only worked four years under McCartney, she created the "it bags" the "Chloe Paddington" which became huge hit in 2004. In 2006 she stepped down as the creative director in order to spend more time with his young daughter. Chloe in 2006 announced that Paulo Melim Anderson would take over as the creative director whose mission is to find a new direction for the Chloe brand and his collection will be out this year. Chloe also has a cheaper sister brand "See by Chloé."

Chloe handbags are a hit in young women's these days; bags are made from the finest French material and are elegantly styled.

Chloe bags have a urban inspired look which is entirely for the young's. Chloe does not have a signature fabric or design like other fashion houses but its the feel of the product which sets it apart from others. 

The Chloe fashion house is facing a strong competition with other fashion brands like Coach, Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Guess, Lacoste and Louis Vuitton.
