Timberland Boots

Timberland is a world's known company for mountain climbing and hiking boots, but they are an important element of fashion these days. These boots are quite popular in the African American, Latin & West Indian culture of New Jersey & New York. It all started in 1918 in Boston, Massachusetts where Nathan Swartz started as an apprentice stitched boots. In 1952 he bought half an interest of Abington Shoe company and later he bought the remaining also in 1955 and than brought his son into this business and after 10 years the company introduced the injection molding technology for shoes which fused the leather upper without stitching with the soles and the result was a waterproof shoe. They were the first to introduce this technology in the shoe industry that time.

The name Timberland came for the waterproof leather boot which became very popular and because of this reason the company official name was changed to TIMBERLAND Company. These waterproof boots are made of premium leather uppers, leather linings, thermal micro fiber and quality foam, padded collar, rustproof hardware, taslan fiber laces, sole made of polyurethane construction attached to durable rubber outsole and fiber glass shanks.

The Timberland Company is into community service also, it encourages striving to unite young people from various backgrounds.  The company also participates in a program which gives employees 40 hours paid off time to serve for their communities.

In 2006 Timberland acquired a British based clothing company named Howies and recently acquired Ipath a skateboard footwear company. The timberland shoes are used by various actors and actresses in various movies in the Hollywood. Steve Irwin "The crocodile Hunter" use to wear timberland boots. The American record producer and composer Timothy Z. Mosley known as Timbaland got his name for wearing timberland boots on stage which became popular in hip hop fashion.

Reebok Shoes and Pumps

Reebok International Limited is the subsidiary of Adidas AG; the name is drive from a type of African antelope or gazelle and spelled in Dutch as RHEBOK. Reebok founded in 1985 at Bolton, Lancashire and named as Mercury Sports but in 1960s it was renamed to its current name. From the evidences I 1932 it was claimed by the underwear company Jockey that they develop the sweat absorbing shirt for USC football team, which is propose as "modern T-Shirts". After World War II t-shirts appeared in civilian wears without a shirt covering it. In 1948 t-shirts were get more popularity because of its promotional use by New York Governor for presidential campaign which was followed in 1952 by many famous stars of Hollywood which they wear on  national TV programs.

The origin of name T-Shirt is refer to different area some says that it because of its "T" shape and some says that it was because of it used as a part of "Training Shirts" in army.
